ChessRoller 27.0.3 is out, and now imports ChessBase .2cbh databases.

Your ChessBase .2cbh databases, on Mac and Windows

ChessRoller now imports ChessBase .2cbh databases and .2cbv archives, alongside the .cbh files it already supported.

What comes across

  • Games and annotations. Variations, comments, symbols, and colored squares and arrows.
  • Guiding texts, with their pictures. Formatting survives, and the links inside still work: click one and ChessRoller opens the game, player, tournament, search or text it points to.
  • Archives. Open .2cbv files directly, with no unpacking first.

If you imported a ChessBase database with an earlier version, import it again to pick up these improvements.

Available now

ChessRoller updates itself, so if you already have it, 27.0.3 will arrive on its own. If you don't, the free 7-day trial includes everything, .2cbh import too, so you can try your own databases before you buy.
